Stumble Upon is a great way to pass your time when your high since it stimulates your mind because of all the information which is given. For those who don't know what Stumble Upon is, its a button which you can put on your browser which allows you too randomly go on different websites which are rated by users(you can choice from a wide range of categories). Therefore, it randomly brings you to websites and when your high you love that sense of discovery, and Stumble Upon really accentuates that feeling. This is a great past time whether your smoking with a buddy and allows conversation about the information of that website, or just smoking a blunt by your self. Highly recommended by the Perfect high!

Death and time

From those who have not seen the movie and want to, you should not read the next paragraph. La Jetee is an excellent film to watch when your high because of the difference in cinematography. This movie set up by a collection of pictures, with a narrator. Now I know it can sound boring, but it is so well made it and the idea behind it is very amazing and was made in 1963.

Spoiler Alert:

After watching this movie, me and a high buddy explained basically a very viable explanation as to what happens when you die. As seen in the movie, we see the main character witness his own death which has marked him as a child, this was because in a post-apocalyptic world after word war three the man was put into a time traveling experiment. We can further explain that it as a constant cycle of time in his own life since when he goes back in time, he lives again as a child. Therefore explaining that time is really constant and then we all die, just to live the same life as we did. When you die, this constant of time starts over and this can further explain that time is really relative, and that we all live in the time in which we are born and we just revolve over our own life when we die. There is basically no way to escape this and we are all trapped in our own myth of Sisyphus. Although time keeps going, and there is a future, every human being or "self" is trapped in the time they live in.

The perfect high 2- Music with little vocals

So I just wanted to make a list of good music to listen to when your high that has very little vocals or no Vocals, I made a list of 3 musical groups of different genres which will ensure a perfect high! Honestly if you plan to listen to them high… wait until your high and then listen to them.

1. Phoenix, Love like a sunset – This song says so much by saying so little. It truly is describing a story with musical tones, I do not know how they did it but I can honestly say this song is worth getting high to for the first time because of the incomparable trip which you will get from it. My suggestion: Listen to it with the lights off and let your mind run free! I also suggest watching the video for another high. Respect, from the perfect high!

2. Detektivbyran,Hemvagen - This song really is unlike any song you will ever listen to! It is instruments which are very rarely used in mainstream media and is a very nice trip, with a lot of happy associated with it. They are a Swedish band and I have so much respect for them. - if you want another good listen with the same group with an addition of good visuals then you should listen to Nattoppet, this video shows the little details of a big city with very nice filmography and music to go along with it, it is truly a perfect high!

3. Deadmouse,Strobe – This one will really put you in a trance when you listen to it high , honestly it my least favorite one out of the three but still a very good listen gives you a more relax feeling

My Stance on Marijuana

My first point on this is that, Marijuana has been widely used all over the world for the last 3000 years as medical and recreational purposes. This means that is has been legal far more, then it has been illegal and it has only been illegal for the past 70 years about. Marijuana has been in our history whether we like it or not and why is it that only now it has been made illegal. This really makes no sense to me.

Although the non-legalization of the drug is still present, something is to be said that the population outcry for still wanting the drug. Also talking about it has a "gateway drug", this is such a ridiculous notion which was marketed to be this way. How the hell is Cannabis a gateway drug? it shares no commonalities with other drugs and it is all natural. It is quite simple, anything that has to be modified in a lab, I will not touch. There are other natural drugs which am not opposed to such as mushrooms, but that's about it. Anything else I will never want to touch in my whole life, because lets be honest you never know what they put in them.

Also I wanted to say that, yes marijuana is a drug and should be controlled such as alcohol. This is to say, I am against the selling to minors. I truly believe that Marijuana can be detrimental to the growth of a child, and would never advocate for this. There should be some strict restrictions, in regards to the selling of minors imposed which I believe could be better controlled if it was legalized .

The perception about communism

To start off I want to say that, I am not a necessarily a communist but it just annoys me how ignorant people can be towards the political philosophy of communism. First off the massive negative media in the cold war has made people think all over North America that communism is the reincarnation of the devil. This truly annoys me and I want to write about the true political philosophy of communism.

First off, what triggered me is that in one of my university classes someone said the cold war was a battle between democratic society and communism. This is wrong because communism is considered a democratic society as well. It was in fact a battle between 2 different political ideologies which one was communism and the other one was capitalism. The thing that even more angered me is the teacher did not correct him when he said this.

Why people might not think communism is democratic?

Well is quite simple, the communistic societies which have existed in the past century did not provide a very democratic atmosphere. This does not mean that the political ideology which is communism is non-democratic. Furthermore, the USSR considered themselves communistic but in reality they were a totalitarian government which the powerful had all the benefits. This of course is not what true communism is, and although I know that true capitalism or communism can’t really exist, I believe the USSR wasn’t even close to a communistic society.

What did Karl Marx really want?

Well when Russia first became communistic, the president at the time (Lenin) misunderstood when a society can really become communistic. Karl Marx himself said that communism can only be achieved when the population of the country has enough human capital. The Russian president at the time thought Russia was at that point, since they entered an industrial era. He overestimated the knowledge of his people, which corrupted the whole country. Therefore, Karl Marx basically advocated for capitalism before a country can become communistic, since capitalism will bring enough human capital to the society. This is what I want people to understand, since in North America when you talk about communism you get shutdown right away which is truly sad.

The basic ideology of communism :

One thing I find interesting in business we learn that money is not a motivator for better productivity and performance. Money is just something we expect and although it has short term benefits, it is not a long term motivator. This is to say that communism is the increase productivity by doing what each person truly desires and not for monetary incentives but rather a different form of incentives. In later posts I will talk more about this since it is of great interest to talk about a communistic society for me, with regards to movie away from monetary incentives.

Can communism ever exist?

I guess only time will tell, but I believe it will one day, or even a different form of communism which has the same basic principles. The capitalistic society was good for this time era and I have nothing against it, it has many positive effects such as the expansion of human capital. The downfall is all the greed associated with capitalism it is bringing the whole world down.

I think we have also seen communistic principles in the creation of open software. Like these people aren’t doing it for money, they are truly doing it because they want to. Also all the information shared on the web is again not for monetary incentives (although I know it can have marketing benefits) , most people don’t do blogs or YouTube videos only for the money. They do it cause they want to. (Note: This can also be seen as socialistic but I think socialism is closer to communism then capitalism)

This all to say that I just think people should better educate themselves in what communism truly is, and don’t even take my word for it. Go research yourself without having a biased opinion to better understand the other side. Especially since this is basically just thoughts in my mind which I didn’t source!

Explaining Depression

So last time we were high me and a friend were talking about how depression is actually a sickness, which is a really cool concept if you think about it. We thought about it by relating the sickness of depression which is essentially a virus for the mind to a normal cold and its symptoms. Just think about it for a second, when your depressed your whole organism feels weak, you feel like you don’t want to do anything. Like let’s face it everyone gets depressed a one point or another and just compare what you felt to another “physical” sickness. There really isn’t that much of a difference.

What we got from this is that, when you get over what is troubling you, you move on and in couple months you don’t even care about what you felt back then. This is a survival mechanism of your body and can explain why some depression can lead to suicide and death. If your body couldn’t forgot or not care about the depression you’ve been through, you will just not be able to continue which would be detrimental to the human race if we were all like this. This is why we came up with the conclusion that depression is truly a sickness in your mind, just like a cold is a sickness to your body.

This can further explain that we just believe we have a “soul” , but in reality we are just a composition of electrons in our brains which is physical. If the receptors of the electrons make you think sad or deep feelings, it will have to change the way the receptors in your brain are connected to forget the sad feelings you have gotten, and make you strive for something else. Therefore, being mentally sick or depressed can just as well be a physical sickness as well.

These are just theories which are not backed up, but are really fascinating to think about while your high!

Welcome to my first weekly update on things to do while being high!

Opening a Kinder Surprise while being high is a very interesting experience because:

first of all there is a editable aspect, which the chocolate tastes so good when your high
the fact that you can’t wait to build your toy and know what you will get.
Not expensive for the amount of pleasure you get
If you are in a group you can compare the toys you get and talk about them, also fun to play around while being high
Can create a nostalgic feeling which is amazing while your high ( If you have had Kinder Surprises in your childhood)

All this to say that such a simple thing can make you extremely happy while your high!

About This Blog:

It is very frustrating that weed has such a bad stigma in most societies all around the world and I truly believe that weed should be made legal in all parts of the world. The purpose of this blog is to encourage, demonstrate and relate to all the weed smokers and non smokers about how weed can be used it as a tool to think creatively, gain knowledge of different experiences and can open up the mind to different perspectives. I also want to dissociation the stereotypical view of laziness associated with smoking Marijuana.
